The Single Use Distribution plan is designed around a single product release to a known set of customers. This allows a company to take advantage of electronic distribution (reducing or eliminating physical manufacturing and distribution costs) for a short (90-180 days) period of time.
The Electronic Software Distribution (ESD) plan is designed to facilitate a customer self-service center allowing customers to see both their orders and their products (including updates) and to download product deliverables when they need them (install time and when they need to recover/reconfigure them).
Product deliverables can include license keys as well as documentation, CD images and program installation files. As part of EntitleNow! SMB plans OMS will load your products into the system. Additionally OMS will process your orders daily and assist your customers should they encounter any problems. This reduces your investment in the resources necessary to maintain and support an ESD system.
The ESD + Ecommerce plan provides not only an electronic distribution platform but also a full feature electronic sales site. This allows you to sell and deliver your products within minutes without manual intervention, saving you time and money. |
